Tango as transformed by Astor Piazolla is presented in the four compositions of Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas in straight dialogue with other four works by the same composer. In this concert the compositions are presented in their transition into trio, revealing an unusual ensemble in which the flute replaces the violin.
