Piazolla Lisboa

Tango as transformed by Astor Piazolla is presented in the four compositions of Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas in straight dialogue with other four works by the same composer. In this concert the compositions are presented in their transition into trio, revealing an unusual ensemble in which the flute replaces the violin.




TEMPUS – Crossing Over

Departing from the deconstruction of Bach and Vivaldi, TEMPUS quartet transports the audience into the universe of jazz with new compositions and sounds from such composers as Oliver Nelson, Chick Corea or Pat Metheny, drawing a bridge between classical music and jazz.

A journey through exotic places in compositions for flute and percussion.

Claude Debussy 150 years: music with poems by Charles Baudelaire

A tribute to Claude Debussy on the 150th anniversary of his birth, through the poems of Charles Baudelaire arranged into songs by Debussy, Duparc, Séverac, Freitas Branco and Sauguet.




Music for piano trio

From the formalism of the classic trio in J. Haydn's seventeenth-century Vienna, to the romantic and unrestrained grammar of A. Dvorak's trio in its Prague premiere which pointed to new worlds.




Caminus Duo

Two works for cello and piano by R. Schumann and Luís de Freitas Branco. The concert closes with S. Prokofiev's ballet music in a transcription for cello and piano made by R. Sapozhnikov in 1971.
